The Nomadrum Voyageur is a premium modular percussion system designed to transform most 12” to 14” djembes into a compact and portable drum setup.

Designed for musicians who want maximum freedom in the way they position and play their kit, the Voyageur Remote features a remote hi-hat system that can be positioned independently from the main setup. Combined with the kick bass, snare effect, cymbals, and modular percussion accessories around a single drumhead, it offers the most flexible and advanced configuration in the Voyageur range.

The kit DOES NOT include the djembe

Rimshot feature

Protect your drumhead and expand your playing possibilities.
The Rimshot feature helps prevent your sticks from hitting the edge of the drumhead while allowing you to play snare-style rimshot accents.

12 inches Hi-hat

The Ready to Play Voyageur kit normally includes 8" hi-hat cymbals.
For a larger and more traditional hi-hat setup, you can upgrade to 12" hi-hat cymbals. Simply add this option to your cart together with your Voyageur kit.

Important note on djembe Drumheads ⚠️

Traditional djembes are fitted with natural drumheads, which were not originally designed to be played with sticks.
Using sticks on natural skins may cause accelerated wear or damage, especially with intensive playing.

We understand how hard it is to resist playing with sticks, we love it too!
To reduce the risk of damage, we strongly recommend:

  • Using sticks with rubber or nylon tips
  • Applying a protective patch to the djembe skin
  • Using synthetic drumheads whenever possible, as they are generally more durable and easier to replace

Nomadrum cannot be held responsible for damage to djembe skins resulting from this type of use.
However, we are actively working on developing solutions to address this challenge and further improve compatibility with different drumhead types.
