READ MORE ABOUT OUR KIT

A hybrid and versatile concept

Recreating the playing style of a traditional drum kit : two pedals, kick bass, hi-hat, toms, and cymbals, the Nomadrum Kit opens up an entirely new range of rhythmic possibilities.

Thanks to its interchangeable modules (bongos, bells, cymbals, snare chain, etc.), it becomes a true percussion module, more creative and versatile than a conventional drum set.

Easy installation, no modification to the djembe

Easy installation, no modification to the djembe

No alteration to your instrument: each element of the kit attaches and detaches easily, with no drilling or gluing required.
Everything is adjustable in height, angle, and position to match your playing style and comfort.

The universal hoop fits most 12" to 14" djembes.

Modular, lightweight, and customizable

Designed for mobile musicians, the Nomadrum Kit is fully modular to suit the player’s level and musical style.

The set without percussion modules weighs approximately 12 kg.

Transform your djembe into a unique, expressive, and nomadic drum kit, without compromising on sound or the freedom to play.

Important note on djembe Drumheads ⚠️

Traditional djembes are fitted with natural drumheads, which were not originally designed to be played with sticks.
Using sticks on natural skins may cause accelerated wear or damage, especially with intensive playing.

We understand how hard it is to resist playing with sticks, we love it too!
To reduce the risk of damage, we strongly recommend:

  • Using sticks with rubber or nylon tips
  • Applying a protective patch to the djembe skin
  • Using synthetic drumheads whenever possible, as they are generally more durable and easier to replace

Nomadrum cannot be held responsible for damage to djembe skins resulting from this type of use.
However, we are actively working on developing solutions to address this challenge and further improve compatibility with different drumhead types.

At Nomadrum, we believe in reusing what you already own. If you already have some of the elements, simply complete your setup using our spare-parts catalogue and double-check you’ve added all the components you need.
